With over 10 years at CASC Fifth Academy, he served as Deputy Director of Mission Management Office (Scientific Research Department), Deputy Director and Director of a Research Institute, and General Manager of Luhai Space in charge of operations. He participated in developing Shenzhou-8, XX-2 and other models, as well as managing missions of Hard X-ray, Shijian-13 and Xinji Shu Yan-2 test satellites.
